Genomind's Bioinformatics Information Database

To achieve our mission of improving personalized mental healthcare and to enable the further exploration of pharmacogenetics, Genomind’s Bioinformatics Services are focused on two activities: expanding our propriety database and building research partnerships.

The Importance of Data Collected from You (Patients and Clinicians)

Personalized medicine, including the sharing of genomic and clinical data, led to 21 brand new cancer drug approvals in 2015, and 10 in 2016.

In contrast, there were only 4 new mental health drug approvals in 2015, and 2 in 2016¹.

More is needed to fuel progress in mental healthcare.

To enable the advancement of psychiatric medicine, Genomind is hoping you will share some personal health information and updates. Our goal is to gather accurate data directly from you, so nothing is missed.

Your responses provide critically-needed real world outcome data to help identify where there are needs for continued research and development of new mental health treatments for future patients.

Proprietary Bioinformatics Database

Genomind’s Bioinformatics Information Database couples Genecept Assay® results with patient data on medications and outcomes, in a de-identified data resource.

Genomind’s Genecept Assay is a widely used genetic test which helps to inform clinicians’ decision-making when prescribing medications and treatments for psychiatric conditions.

Every shared piece of health data and updated medication information combine to exponentially increase the potential for new developments and better mental health treatments.
