Dr. Doraiswamy is a leading expert in brain and behavioral sciences, health innovation and mobile medical technologies. He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils and has published more than 300 scientific articles. He is the co-author of “The Alzheimer’s Action Plan” and the e-book “Living Well After a Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s”.
Dr. Doraiswamy is a Professor of Psychiatry and Medicine at Duke University Health System. He is also a member of corporate and non-profit boards and an adviser to several health and technology businesses.
Background and Education
Dr. Doraiswamy received his medical degree, a MBBS from the University of Madras in India and completed postgraduate training in psychiatry at Duke University. He has received many honors for his research including a certificate of special Congressional recognition for medical services to the community.
