David S. Krause, MD
Dr. David Krause, previously Genomind’s Chief Medical Officer, now holds a pivotal role as a member of our Scientific Advisory Board. With board certification in internal medicine and over 25 years of extensive experience in pharmaceutical research, development, and medical affairs, Dr. Krause brings invaluable expertise to Genomind.
In his former position, he spearheaded clinical research and fostered connections with Genomind’s patients, customers, and subject matter experts. Before his tenure at Genomind, Dr. Krause held leadership roles in global therapeutic areas at SmithKline Beecham and GlaxoSmithKline. Additionally, his role as Chief Medical Officer at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals, later acquired by Pfizer, Inc. in 2006, showcased his exceptional contributions to the pharmaceutical landscape.
Recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Krause boasts authorship of over 40 scientific publications and abstracts. His expertise has also been sought by entities such as the Department of Defense, where he served as a consultant.
Education
Dr. Krause completed his undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, earning the prestigious distinction of Centennial Fellow from the College of Liberal Arts. He furthered his education by obtaining an MD degree from Temple University, solidifying his foundation in the medical field. Now, in his role as a guiding member of our Scientific Advisory Board, Dr. Krause continues to shape and enrich Genomind’s endeavors with his wealth of knowledge and strategic insights.
